Where my work stands...

At the moment my work is at a semi-stand still. Transitioning through projects. For photo class still working with Digital Negatives. I really enjoyed the last project working with models. It was the first time I have done it so intensely. I was rather pleased with the outcome of the work. For Printmaking, I am working on a new plate design. I think this time I want to experiment on a larger scale. I am also going to be working with a sugar lift so I am excited to see how that works.

Ralph Goings: American Photorealist Painter

Painting has never been my strong suit. I am really impressed with Ralph Goings abilities. Through a few of his works I needed to stop and ask myself whether they were actually painted or if they are photographs.

Black And White Portraits By Suresh Natarajan

These are some really well done Portraits. I really enjoy the range of tonal value in them. Also, the emotion he is able to get out of the models is impressive. I like the different use of Depth of Field and Camera Controls.

Digital Photo

Took this with new camera.
It was shot in color but I used Photoshop to make it a black and white image.
Also played with the levels and used the spot healing brush.
